Neuropathy
After I had surgery to graft an artery in my calf, my foot remained numb.

This was more than just a nuisance, as I kept tripping over my own foot when going up stairs, even breaking a toe.
Finally I decided to try acupuncture. A friend recommended Carole Paine. I agreed to a series of four sessions. At the end of my first treatment nothing seemed to have changed, but that evening as I was getting undressed I felt the sock sliding off the outer edge of my foot. This was the first tactile sensation in this foot in the eighteen months since surgery!
I’ve had some additional improvement in subsequent sessions and now have feeling in the little toe and in the arch of the foot. This has made a big difference in walking, especially in going up stairs. I feel that Carole has given me my foot back!
